i’m definitely an over-apologizer, which can be its own sort of annoying (on that note, sorry to everyone that had to hear me say sorry a million times on the livestream! (aaaaand i’ve done it again 🤦🏻‍♀️)) BUT! i still think “sorry” is a very powerful word. we all could stand to use a bit more of it. .

my song “crawl” is out today 🥳 this song is about the chapter that comes after the knockdown--the chapter where you start to come to again, and though you're weak and hollowed out and broken, you're ready to start trying to put the pieces back together. to me it feels like the beginning of healing. or maybe the beginning of being WILLING to heal. it's about baby steps and celebrating the small wins and giving yourself grace on the occasions you might momentarily stumble back into the dark. "crawl" found its way to me in a dire moment and served as a little mantra i could sing to myself as i ever-so-slowly trudged my way back to myself.
